Strengthening Families

In this 3-hour training, participants will learn about the 5 protective factors which are demonstrated to strengthen family function. They will also be able to identify at least three next steps that they could take following the training to build protective factors within their early care and education setting and available resources to implement ideas. Participants will also be able to identify Strengthening Families resources. SCAN-MRT training is included.

To successfully complete the course, you will need:

  • A computer or mobile device with internet access
  • Audio capability (for videos)
  • The ability to open PDF or Word documents
  • To finish all modules, knowledge checks, and upload your certificate for the Mandated Reporter Training.
This course typically takes 3 hours to complete. However, you are encouraged to take as much time as you need to explore the examples, activities, and resources throughout the course. Your pace is completely up to you. You can leave at any time and return where you left off.
